"Comfortable and pleasant. Every we needed was in the lodge. The site was very quiet. We would return"

Very spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Plenty of crockery, cutlery and pans to self cater, although a the pans could do with updating. The lodge was beautifully warm and cosy with Christmas decorations, mince pies and Christmas crackers provided by our host Joanne

The kitchen area needs to be updated along with bedroom cupboards, but this didn’t have any impact on our stay. There was no internet, but we were aware of this at the time of booking. The price was very reasonable and I’m sure would have been a lot higher had the interior been updated

Lovely clean spacious accommodation . Host was very responsive and helpful. Sad we only stayed for a night on our way up north but very convenient as a stop over.

The place was excellent value for money. Lots of information in the guest handbook about local amenities including where to go for a dog walk. Much bigger than expected.

Bit of a hike to get someplace to let the dogs off lead.
