Margossa Residence Kandy - Two Bedroom Design Villa

Margossa mi ha catturato il cuore. È stata una delle poche strutture in cui non me ne sarei mai andata. Pulizia, posizione (lontana dal caos), cura dei dettagli, design… niente è tralasciato al caso. Asitha è davvero un perfetto padrone di casa, premuroso e gentile. E fa delle colazioni semplicemente incredibili (ancora me la sogno). La nostra stanza, inoltre, aveva uno spazio esterno privato in cui rilassarsi. Lo stra consiglio!!

The place was roomy, beautifully designed and with unique pieces of art everywhere. Also very comfortable, with 4 different setting areas inside, 2 outside. Floor to ceiling windows in our room with splendid view. Superb stylish property in quiet location yet convenient to town. The owner Asitha is a fabulous, informative and charming host.

To był najbardziej niesamowity apartament, w którym mieszkaliśmy na Sri Lance: Był przepięknie urządzony, aż nie chciało się z niego wychodzić. W domu było wiele udogodnień - przepiękny taras, dostęp do kuchni, ekspres do kawy. Gospodarz powitał nas bardzo serdecznie i przygotował przepyszne śniadanie.

The property was a fabulous house with interesting architecture and furnishings. Very welcoming. Asitha the host could not have been more helpful. The staff Kavi and Sudhan looked after everything we needed with real warmth. The breakfast cooked by Kavi was such a spread. Come hungry! Sudhan provided the tuk tuk service from the house which was also a great inclusion.

The breakfast was exceptional, and the villa is ideally located for convenience.

The property is very well maintained, and there was nothing we found to dislike during our stay.

El mejor hotel de sri lanka. Decoracion muy bonita, Ashita fue encantador en todo momento y ha conseguido un hotel acogedor del que te da pena irte.

No poder quedarme mas tiempo.

Asitha gerçekten mükemmel bir insan. Her şeyiyle çok ince düşünen birisi. Bize her konuda yardımcı oldu. Tren istasyonuna gitmemize, çamaşırhaneyi kullanmamız bunlardan sadece bazıları. Kahvaltı Sri Lanka’da gördüğüm en güzel şeydi gerçekten. Orada daha fazla kalmayı ve tekrar kendisini görmeyi çok isterim.

Wat een fantastisch verblijf! Dit hotel krijgt van ons zonder twijfel een 10 uit 10. Het ligt net buiten het centrum van Kandy, waardoor je de rust en natuur om je heen hebt, maar toch in een paar minuten met een tuk-tuk in de stad staat. De ligging is echt ideaal. Het gebouw zelf is prachtig en goed onderhouden. Onze kamers waren ruim, brandschoon en voorzien van een mooie badkamer. Vanuit de kamer hadden we een schitterend uitzicht over de natuur van Kandy, echt een cadeautje om mee wakker te worden. De eigenaar en het team zijn ook geweldig, stuk voor stuk ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze doen werkelijk alles om je verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken. Als extraatje konden we onze kleding gratis laten wassen en er is zelfs parkeergelegenheid in de garage voor wie met een eigen tuk-tuk komt. En dan het ontbijt… werkelijk geweldig! Alles wat je maar kunt wensen om de dag goed te beginnen. Kortom: geen minpunten te bedenken. We zouden dit hotel aan iedereen aanraden en komen zelf zeker terug!

Our stay at Margossa Residence in Kandy was absolutely perfect — hands down, the best place we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. The owner and host is truly exceptional — incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about his guests. He made us feel at home in the best way possible, and we honestly regretted not staying longer. The view from the property is breathtaking, and the atmosphere is so peaceful and calming — you feel like you’re in a small oasis above the city. The interior design of the villa is stylish and thoughtful — every detail feels modern, fresh, and comfortable. And the breakfast… wow. Truly one of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka — fresh, generous, and made with love. We are already dreaming of coming back to Margossa. This place is a gem. Thank you for making our honeymoon stay so memorable 💛

Niesamowite miejsce, świetny właściel, pyszna kawa, obfite śniadanie. Dom to artystyczne cudo... ale przy okazji bardzo praktyczne.

Za krótko tam byliśmy...następnym razem zostaniemy dłużej 😀
