Margossa Residence Kandy - Two Bedroom Design Villa

Credo di aver fatto un paio di recensioni nella mia vita, nonostante sia già stato in 55 paesi. Quando le scrivo significa che ha superato ogni aspettativa. Prima di tutto, le foto non rendono davvero la cura dei dettagli del posto, al contrario di tutte le altre strutture nel corso di 10 giorni che erano fuorvianti. L’host ha un passato nella 1’ classe delle linee aeree e vi coccola con attenzioni e gentilezza incredibili - forse per training, forse per sua natura. La colazione supererà ogni paragone con tutte le altre che farete in Sri Lanka. Il caffè il migliore che berrete, senza gara. La casa ha anche vari salottini. La conversazione super interessante. Non volevamo più andare via!

Just the second bad in our room

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in der Margossa Residence in Kandy. Die Unterkunft war einzigartig. Wir fühlten uns sofort willkommen und wohl. Uns stand alles zur Verfügung: Wir durften die Waschmaschine benutzen, hatten eine Garage für unser Tuk-Tuk und konnten uns auf der schönen Terrasse sonnen. Das Zimmer war gross, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war ausgesprochen lecker und reichhaltig. Der Besitzer, Asitha, ist ein unglaublicher Gastgeber. Er steckt extrem viel Herzblut in sein Business und tut alles Menschenmögliche, um seine Gäste glücklich zu machen. Auch das Personal ist ausserordentlich nett und engagiert. Der Preis für die Übernachtung inkl. Frühstück ist mehr als fair, jeder Cent ist gut investiert. Unsere Erwartungen wurden definitiv übertroffen. Wir können die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen und würden gerne wieder dort übernachten. Vielen Dank für den unvergesslichen Aufenthalt und alles Gute für die Zukunft. 💕

Highly recommend! House is very nice, clean and special. We had rented one out of the two bedrooms, and were the only guests that night, so we had the great living room and kitchen area to ourselves. We had the room without own balcony, but that was not a problem. The room is big and clean, with a very cool design and an outside shower (covered so no insects inside). House also had a balcony we could use, with view of the mountains. The host was very friendly and helpful, and offered great breakfast. He also offered to help us ordering dinner delivered to the house, and gave us a bottle of wine - which is way more than expected!

კენდიში გატარებული დრო ჩვენი შრილანკაზე მოგზაურობის გამორჩეული ეპიზოდი იყო. მთავარი მიზეზი კი ალბათ ასითჰას სახლი და მისი მასპინძლობა. თვითონ სახლი არის სრულიად საოცარი, არაჩვეულებრივი არქიტექტურით და ინტერიერით: უზარმაზარი ფანჯრები, ვერნადა, სიმწვანე. უბანიც უკარგესი, მყუდრო, წყნარი, მაგრამ თან ცენტრთან ახლოს. რაც შეეხება ასითჰას, ვერც ვინატრებდით უკეთეს მასპინძელს. საუზმეც ძალიან გემრიელი. ყველას ვურჩევ კოლომბოს ნაცვლად რამდენიმე დღის ქენდიში გატარებას, ნამდვილად აქვს ამ ქალაქს რაღაც განსაკუთრებული ხასიათი და სტილი. The house is beautiful, with a lot of art and wooden doors - we loved all the design details. Bed and shower were very comfortable and the room is very spacious. The staff was super friendly and Kavi prepared us a fantastic breakfast , we really were surprised by all the details and beauty of this accomodation. Thank you so much again, we truly enjoyed our stay!

As it is not at walking distance to the city center, we ordered a pizza with Uber for dinner at the house, but of course by taxi you can easily go.
