Margossa Residence Kandy - Two Bedroom Design Villa

Our stay was an absolute dream. The architecture of the house is really nice. The host and staff members are simply amazing. The host Asintha is someone you hope to meet at a 5 star resort but rarely get. He is very caring while giving you full privacy. He made our stay very special and we wish him all the best with his accommodation and can fully recommend it. We stayed in many great accommodations throughout our many travels but this stays is among the top 3. The house only has two rooms, so it is very calm and makes the stay very relaxing. The location is also super nice, close to town but away from the noise. It was always easy to get a tuk.

Notre coup de cœur du séjour, qui a quand même duré un mois ! La villa d’architecte est magnifique, décorée avec beaucoup de goût. La chambre est magnifique et très spacieuse. Et que dire du petit déjeuner exceptionnel concocté par le propriétaire Asitha, qui en plus des spécialités Sri Lankaise s’est même lancé le défi de produire des croissants maison ! Cerise sur le gâteau, Asitha nous a proposé d’aller passer gratuitement l’après midi à la piscine d’un hôtel magnifique dont il est membre !

La villa è stupenda, curata nei minimi dettagli e si trova in un contesto tranquillo e immerso nel verde lontano dal caos del centro di Kandy. La camera è grande ed elegante, con uno dei bagni più belli che abbia mai visto. La colazione in terrazza è stata abbondante e deliziosa. Asitha è un proprietario accogliente ed adorabile, è stato un piacere conversare con lui. Vorrei che il soggiorno fosse durato di più!

The house is beautifully organised and adorned, making it feel like a true home away from home. Asitha elevates the hosting experience to an extraordinary level — you won't want to leave this place. His breakfast is fantastic! NB: No pool and did not need it.

Asitha lebt Service! Wer ein 5 Sterne Plus Erlebnis sucht ist hier richtig aufgehoben. Die Zimmer waren Blitzeblank kein einziger Kalkfleck auf der Duschgarnitur. Morgens das Frühstück war Fabelhaft wir haben sogar ein Lunchpaket für unsere lange Zugfahrt von Kandy nach Ella bekommen. Das Haus ist sehr Einzigartig und Geschmackvoll eingerichtet und zu dem Zeitpunkt wo wir da waren hatten nur wir ein Zimmer belegt sodass es sich angefühlt hat als hätten wir die ganze Villa gemietet. Die Villa ist ein Architekten Haus mit einer sehr schönen Einteilung und es gibt immer etwas neues zu entdecken. Der Architekt selbst hat es "Tropical Modernism" gennant und dass trifft voll zu. In der Lage kann man dem hektischen tun von Kandy entfliehen und ist dennoch innerhalb weniger Minuten mit dem Tuktuk in der Stadt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Asitha hat Hospitalit verstanden und man fühlt sich einfach gut Aufgehoben wie bei einem gutem Freund.
