"Brilliant for a short stay"

Convenient location with fantastic transport links and positioned within good walking distance of many of my favourite spots in Southsea. Very friendly staff, and my room was pleasantly comfortable and convenient to check in and out of.

The bolt to lock the shared bathroom didn't quite move all the way - it was enough to lock it, but not enough to switch the sign on the front from vacant to engaged to indicate it was in use.

The amenities, location, comfortable homely atmosphere, everything worked, there was a lounge and kitchen for the guests, a Kettle with coffee, tea bags, biscuits and Persian rug in the room, quality TV with YouTube, value for money and late check in for Ferries arriving after 11pm. The host greeted me personally at around 11pm, and there was a keycard lockbox for even later check-in. The South Parade Beach and Pier is just across the road, the building is lovely like a mini Taj Mahal, carpeted, cosy and heated in December when I stayed here.

There was nothing to dislike.

"Beautiful and enjoyable stay"

Massive room in excellent location. Bed comfortable and room very clean. Had great little kitchen where we could make dinner and breakfast. Great bathroom and shower. Kind staff. Good instructions on available free parking close by. Close to beach and also able to walk into main area of town.
