Host cancelled the booking as we were standing in front of the door. They had called earlier to say they needed to change the locks, so we agreed to a later check in time. When we arrived the door code to get the key did not work so we called the host. She answered and said she would text it to us, but when nothing came, we called again and it went to voicemail. After waiting we called again and she answered and said the booking was cancelled, but we had not had any notification of that from booking.com. We heard someone inside so knocked on the door and pressed the ring doorbell but no answer. As we sat in the car trying to find alternative accommodation we saw the curtains move, but no one had the courtesy to apologise or let us know the reason for cancelling at the last minute.

Could have let us know by phone that the booking was cancelled so we could make alternative arrangements! She called twice in the morning to ask to push back the check in time, so could easily have called us again. Very poor host.

the room was clean

people who were staying were ridiculously noisy, me and my partner were awake from 5AM from the noise that was being made.

Beautiful room to stay in so comfy and felt like home and was a great price. Very lucky to have stayed here after having to find accommodation shortly after a cancellation on my travels. Perfect place to stay overnight.

Quiet location. Remember you have to share a toilet/bathroom. Is a share house, you could hear conversations from people in the other room.

Quiet environment, and affordable.
