Room wasn't on arrival due to another guest but host rung to apppogiee

Booked for six nights to visit our daughter, who lives in Nottingham, but stayed only four. Reason: the bed in the two persons bedroom is only 140 cm wide and the mattress is very bad. It’s impossible to get a good night's sleep with two adults on it. So the 4th’s night, after three horrible, sleepless nights for both of us, I decided to sleep on the coach in the living room. However that was not allowed/strictly forbidden. So my wife and I were forced to leave immediately. Our daughter dropped by for just a few minutes, to pick up our luggage, but she never slept or stayed there. Even that short visit was not allowed! So that same day we packed our things and at 2.30 pm and we left the house, clean and tidy.

Expect a strange other guest who makes a mess of the shared bathroom, toilet and kitchen. Expect the other guest to make phone calls until late at night that you can hear very clearly through the thin walls. Expect that there are no sheets on the bed when you arrive; you have to make up the bed yourself with unfolded crammed sheets. Expect a pungent smell in the kitchen. Expect that there is no way to control the central heating when you are cold. Expect a cleaning lady to be suddenly standing in the room without any notification. Expect your number to be blocked if you want to discus a complaint. However, don’t ever expect a refund if you (are forced to) leave earlier than booked.

We have previously stayed at this property, we had such a lovely stay and it was equipped with everything we needed 😊 very cosy and clean
