Location was excellent next to station.

Outside is a little old and being renovated

Apartment was a little tired in some areas Bins hadn’t been emptied for our arrival & drainer in kitchen hadn’t been cleaned.

I needed last minute booking. Host was very helpful. I was little lost in town centre. Nav sent me all the instructions how to get to the property and where to collect the keys from. All on videos. Very clean apartment. All amenities provided. Lift was working as I have 2 year old. It made my life very easy. Best thing is you get free secured parking with this free of charge. I will definitely book again. Thanks

Firstly, we found it extremely difficult not only locating the apartment, but finding somewhere to pull over to go to ‘3D News’, where we had to go out of our way to get the keys in the middle of Birmingham. After we received the keys, finding the apartment itself was a huge inconvenience. We were driving around the centre for up to an hour as videos we received off WhatsApp were not helpful. This resulted in us having to park elsewhere and spend a further £20 for secure parking. We then had to walk ten minutes from said car park to the apartment. When we entered the apartment block there was a strong unpleasant smell that hit us. We were reluctant to use the lift due to the reviews suggesting it had trouble working recently. We went up the stairs and they were repulsive. Smelly and dirty is an understatement to use to describe them. When we reached the third floor, the state of the carpets was disgusting and the smell was still lingering. When entering the apartment we were shocked to find it was not as advertised as it was on booking.com. It had another unpleasant smell, where we noticed a lot of air freshener was dotted around clearly to cover this. Both rooms had numerous marks and stains in the carpet. Majority of the walls had black marks all over them. In the en-suite to the one room, there was no toilet paper, instead an empty roll with five tissues on from a tissue placed on top. The bathroom felt unclean and not up to standard as you would expect. The kitchen hobs were cracked and left extremely dirty and there was cutlery left in the drying rack. There were stains on the cupboards and walls along with a crack in the mirror being held up with cello-tape. The sofa was very uncomfortable and the place itself felt very unhygienic and not as shown online. There was previous rubbish left in the bin in the bedroom with the en-suite. The draws under the table by the couch were also left dirty. Among the above points, I did not feel safe to stay in this apartment.
