"Lovely cottage and well equipped however woul unlikely return due to lack of hot water for shower"

The cottage was lovely and spacious and clean

Unfortunatley we were unable to get even a warm shower. It was near impossible to get the shower to run hot and with 4 people trying to get ready for a family wedding this caused alot of stress and upset. The host was not really able to give an explanation for this. There was plenty of water in the hot tank but the shower was impossible to set to a decent temperature and just kept running cold. If we knew this issue had been resolved we would definitley recommend the place and use again.

"The property was everything we needed. It was comfortable, warm, and very clean."

Location was perfect for us attending a metal detecting weekend in the next village. The house is beautiful, we especially loved the aga. The host was contactable if needed.

I can not complain about anything.

Noisy water pump had to fiddle with the shower tap to get it to stop. No provision of basics tea, coffee, milk, etc. Even more important as there is no shop 8n the village
