"Excellent location and a lovely, spacious house."

9.0

Super spacious house, had everything we could possibly need. Lovely yet a bit overgrown garden. We loved seeing the train running just above the garden.

Well, there’s NO street parking. Theoretically it is as each house should have designated spaces to park just outside BUT no 26 had THREE cars, 22 had 2 cars and they all blocked the whole possible way of parking right next to this house which is 24. So we couldn’t park there even for a minute and even when off loading the car we were shouted at and told off by no 26. If you have small children with prams or are elderly you will struggle as the nearest carpark was a long stay one (we have to pay each day for it) and a few mins walk.

"A Great property very well looked after and well equipped in a lovely location . We will return ."

10.0

The property is absolutely beautiful, clean well maintained and located in a perfect place close to a beautiful sea side town with loads of shops, pubs , restaurants and local friendly people. We was amazed by the train line so close to the rear of property which was so good to watch the train pass by every so often and it was not loud and did not disturb us at all in fact we really enjoyed watching and my father was so happy because his into train models so this was a superb treat for him. Neighbours was very nice people and such a quiet location.

The only issue we had was the Wi-Fi code did not work and the password code would not match correctly as directed. There is nothing to dislike about this property.

"apart from parking it was a lovely stay"

7.0

Parking was a nightmare, nearest I got was 400 to 500 yards and that was for 1st night. I even found cone when I got closer and used it to find it was moved and i had to park a long way from cottage

"Good"

6.0

It was quite close to main street and beach and not too noisy a road.

Not well cleaned, parking very difficult at 4pm arrival. Many of the curtains etc were broken and couldn't cover the windows. Lacking basic kitchen items like scissors and small salad bowls. No choice of thin bedding rather than winter weight duvets.

"What could be a lovely house was very let down in terms of needing some TLC"

4.0

The property was within walking distance to the shops and beach

The property wasn’t as described in the photos especially the garden and summer house , the blinds inside didn’t work carpets had stains ,window ledges outside were full of flies we read some of the reviews obviously not all as some mentioned about the same issues and obviously they hadn’t been addressed from a long time ago , the gardener came one day and we asked him to cut back where it was so over grown and not being able to walk down to the summer house that was full of cobwebs over all maybe the staff were not doing a thorough job

"A wonderful, peaceful and fun stay in a really lovley property. I'll be back!"

9.0

The most incredible location, a stones away from the quaint and quirky high street and large Tesco, as well as literally on the main national rail line [to Norwich] adjacent to the heritage North Norfolk Railway steam train to Holt. A short walk to the beach which can even be seen from attic windows. We loved seeing the train's coming in and out of the station hourly at the very end of the garden and the family took to shouting "Train" every time one came by - a great family game! I'd like to counter the criticism about the house having plastic plants and tired decor. I wouldn't expect living plants in a holiday home and besides the wonderful garden counteracts the argument - we cooked with many of the fresh herbs from the establised herb garden. The decor could be spruced up yes, but has a lovely mix of antiques pieces and newer pieces fit for a holiday home. Yes, the Sofa's aren't very comfortable, but what are you doing sitting around when the place is so fantastic with so many places to go? The kitchen has everything you could ever need. The house is clean as you could ever ask.

At the height of season [when we stayed] the street parking (which is free) is a real challenge, causing you to park several streets away from the property or be on constant look-out for spaces to become available - a problem when loading and unloading luggage and an inconvenience for older guests and a touch stressful...but free. Great facilities for a large family, but an extra WC or shower room would be a great addition to the property when it's a full house.

"Family Weekend Away."

7.0

Great location, cosy house and perfect room set up for our family. Very quiet neighbourhood and loved the train in the garden

Well equipped generally but could have done with some spare toilet roll and toiletries in the bathroom - small cost items but would have made a big impression
