"Good location and on the surface a pleasing renovation of a cottage, but as four people in their seventies it was not su"

7.0

Good location, not far from shops. Also within walking distance of train and bus stations. We travelled by public transport.

This property is not at all suitable for anyone with mobility problems and this should be stated on the home page. The stairs to first floor difficult and the stairs to the loft bedroom extremely dangerous for older people and I think also you would not like to have small children up there on their own. The beds squeaked and the heating was difficult to manage (even though they had the same system as we had at home) so the boiler which is located in the main bedroom kept on kicking in all night long. The shower is over the bath with no non slip bath mat. We decided it was too dangerous to try and get out of the bath so only had on shower while we were there. The taps on the bath difficult to turn as they are so close to the wall. On examination of the oven it was really dirty with burnt on grease, it looked like it had not been cleaned for months. The toilet seat was loose so you wobbled as soon as you sat down. Only 3 wine glasses with 1 flute, would not take a lot of money to replace the missing wine glass.

"Disappointing stay"

2.0

Proximity to high street

Spiders and moths in loft bedroom. Creaking and squeaky metal frame beds made it impossible to have a quiet night's rest. Stairs to loft room so precipitous that it is a hazard to use. Pictures should be included in listing. Poor parking as little space offered and risk of receiving a ticket if vehicle not positioned directly in front of front door. Which in effect blocks foot access into property.

"Very good"

A great location in the centre with handy parking spot. Lovely kitchen well equipped. Comfy seating.

Could do with the terrace fencing off to make it safe for dogs. Shower screen needs attention and bath sealant needs replacing. We only used the main bedroom but stairs to attic were very steep!

"Excellent location and parking."

8.0

The location and free parking was great. Nice layout and lots of space.

Shower screen did not stay in place, used a shampoo bottle to hold it back. Could do with a little tlc in places, remember to turn down thermostat at night or the boiler kicks in every 20 minutes and keeps you awake.

"Cosy, conveniently located, clean, comfortable cottage."

7.0

Cosy cottage in a perfect central location for exploring Kings Lynn. Well worth the price. A kitchen with enough equipment to prepare basic meals from scratch. Easily enough space for a family of 2 adults, 2 kids, or a couple and 2 adults. Easy to find the cottage. Parking for one small to medium sized car. Clean and tidy on arrival. TV has Netflix, Prime Video, Chrome cast etc.

Very little furnature made the cottage feel a little odd to stay in. Only 2/4 slices of the toaster works. Bathroom has a bunch of odd issues; Shower screen doesn't stay put unless wedged in place. Bath mixer tap has hot and cold reversed. Lots of cracked and peeling paint towards the ceiling. Cottage was not particularly warm in the evenings in early October, and the heating didn't appear to work at all. Not a good choice for anyone with mobility problems. Stairs to first floor are uneven and steep. Stairs to the second floor are so steep they're fitted with a staircase you'd find on a yacht.
