"A Classic Hotel You Shouldn't Pass Up!"

The place was very elegant and cozy. The front desk lady we saw through our stay was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Coffee and tea was provided on the morning of checkout which was nice. Overall a really good stay.

The elevator was a little scary the day we checked out because when it was on the first floor, the platform didn't quite level with the actual floor. This is more being nitpicky on my part. I do wish they served breakfast like they use to but I do understand the area is still under some recovery from the hurricane. Again, being nitpicky here.

It’s across Lake Lure

They did not gave us my friend’s ID and wallet when we checked out during the day though they said they called on the phone at 11pm but no one answered since we were all exhausted and asleep. Ended up asking them to mail it to our home state.
