Lake Lure Inn and Spa

The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. The decor was unique. Wondering around the building looking at the art and sculptures was so much fun. My wife and I were attending a ball nearby at fae nectar so staying it the inn perfectly matched the vibe of our outfits.

This property is like stepping back in time and is full of memorabilia. The lady who greeted us was very pleasant. The beds were comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. We had a lovely view from our large window.

The property understandably wants to preserve its roots, but I would suggest fresh carpeting throughout because the present carpets are well worn. Also, Internet and cell reception was almost impossible. This definitely needs to be remedied.
