Coco Bliss - Ahangama

I have stayed in many homestays but this is a place that is truly special and really feels like home. Dilan and Nilani are the most generous and genuine hosts you could ask for. I was here Solo but left as part of their family. I was treated like a son to them, and as a brother to their lovely children Janindu and Sethumi. Nothing is to much and the family go above and beyond to welcome you into their life. Whether that is organising a birthday party for a guest, taking you to the doctor, a family dinner. Nothing is too much and is generously provided. The accommodation itself is set back from the road and has outdoor areas to relax. I also worked remotely a few days here and the internet is good for video calls and has room inside or out to be used as a desk. My room had a large bed, AC, overhead fan, mosquito net, and a more private balcony with 2 chairs and a drying rack. I had the pleasure of extending my stay here to 9 nights and I’ll never forget this experience with my lovely family. Coco Bliss is social in all the best ways, breakfast and dinner together with the other guests, helping out with dinner, getting to know them and their family. I will be coming back and miss them already!! Thanks so much for a lovely time and I will see you soon!!

The location was right across from the beach, it was just far enough off the road to be quiet in the evening.

From the moment we walked in the door, we felt right at home at Coco Bliss. Dilan, Lilani and their family went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From the home cooked breakfasts and dinners to local recommendations and helping with taxis, they truly put their hearts into looking after us. They even threw a surprise birthday party for my partner which was so sweet and thoughtful. The villa is in a great location, away from the hustle and bustle of Ahangama but within 4 mins by tuk tuk. There are great yoga spots, pickleball courts and the beach right on the doorstep. Highly recommend Coco Bliss as a great place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Coco Bliss. What makes it extra special, is the family that is at the heart of everything. From the delicious breakfasts and home cooked evening meals, to the support with days out and taxi rides to and from the guesthouse...nothing was too much trouble. The location is perfect. The centre of Ahangama is easily accessible, but you have the benefit of staying somewhere quieter next to Kabalana, the best beach in town. Finally, the price is unbeatable. Coco Bliss was the perfect end to our stay in an amazing country.

Super emplacement, très proche de la plage et des restaurants. Coco bliss village est une très jolie maison avec une cours qui permets de manger a l'extérieur. La chambre est spacieuse avec un très grand lit confortable avec moustiquaire, un adaptateur sur les prises et une salle de bain privative. Le petit déjeuner, avec des spécialites Sri lanaises notamment, est copieux et délicieux. Au delas d'une réservation de chambre, j'ai surtout eu la chance de faire la connaissance d'une très belle famille. Ils m'ont proposé des visites auxquelles je n'aurais pas pensé, m'ont amené à mes excursions et ont organisé mon transfert depuis l'aéroport et vers ma prochaine destination. Je n'aurai jamais pensé être aussi chaleureusement accueilli. Merci pour tout

Потрясающее место и чудесные люди! Одно из лучших мест за нашу 3х недельную поездку по острову! От сёрферского пляжа Кабалана до виллы минут 5 прогулочным шагом. Сама вилла очень стильная, полюбилась нам терраса на втором этаже с гамаком. Забота владельцев - это просто 💔 Полное ощущение, что вы приехали в гости к близким людям. У моего мужа был день рождения во время нашего пребывания здесь. Меня поругали, что я не предупредила об этом заранее 😅 и вечером устроили ему вечеринку сюрприз! Отмечали интернациональной компанией всеми жителями виллы, ужинали за большим столом на первом этаже, закусывали белорусский самогон(наш родненький 😂) ланкийским карри и все вместе пели песни в караоке. Самый незабываемый праздник, большое вам спасибо 🫶 Очень хотим вернуться 🥹

Для нас это не было минусом, но может кому-то важно. Рядом проходит железная дорога, иногда может быть шумно, но ночью вроде не было поездов, только в дневное время.

We had a wonderful stay at the Coco Bliss. The family is very caring and friendly and immediately makes you feel at home. Spent there almost a week, celebrating the hosts son’s and my own birthday 🙌🏼🎉 They even arranged a surprise for us. Service and information (where to visit) were top notch. Showed us how to cook, gave us insights, arranged transports and scooter. They even arranged us a transport very early in the morning (2am) due to my delayed flight. Can highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a comfy and familiar environment in a super location.
