The view

Being right above a very noisy pub that was playing loud music until 1am. Apartment was poorly maintained and in need of an update.

Great location and view, just steps away from all the action. Good sized rooms with all amenities you could ask for.

Curtains in the bedroom were see through so didn’t block out the street light. Not the end of the world but if you’re a light sleeper, something to bear in mind.

Location, big windows, great host communication.

Had such a terrible sleep. The curtains are not block out in any of the rooms which was a real shame. Also you could hear the music through the floors very clearly, the room was vibrating. The heating was also an issue there were no instructions and then the floor heated up very quickly, and we very hard to cool down.

The bedroom curtains were only very sheer and didn't block any light which meant it was very bright in the bedroom all night and there were no curtains at all in the living room so there was very little privacy. The windows are all very old so offered no noise insulation and the apartment is right above the street so it was very noisy all night. There were also strange noises from the floor/walls during the night which were quite disturbing. The apartment wasn't very clean, there was a dirty fork in the sink and crumbs all over the kitchen when I arrived. There was no plug at all in the bath so this was unusable and generally the floors and decor, sofas etc were all very old, worn and battered. It felt cheap and badly maintained at the lowest possible cost.

Great views of the beachfront. Large, spacious rooms. Nice and light because of the windows. Nicer than just having a hotel room. Balcony was cool. Very convenient location for our gig at Dreamland - perfect for our 1 night stay.

Very thin curtains in the bedroom so privacy compromised (although you’re not ground floor) and morning light wakes you up. Quite noisy all the time too - music till late and traffic early morning. Maybe a small milk in the fridge would’ve been nice - as teabags and coffee was there.

Location, size, view

There was no heating (in December it's very tough), no curtain, and the sofas were not comfortable at all
