Poppy's on the Lagoon

The staff were very friendly.

Room security was very poor., luckily crime was not an issue. I booked this property for the beachside location thinking I could swim close to the hotel. Unfortunately the lagoon has been closed for swidue to pollution. This should be mentioned in the property details.

Breakfast and meals good. Lagoon location. Friendly staff.

Polluted lagoon.

Good with lovely refreshing fruit. Good amount. But I didn’t particularly like the bread - not what I’m used to. Good cooling breeze through the room. Evening meals very nice - though beef curry a little strong

Location meant a hot walk to town - but that was my choice as I’d prefer a view of the lagoon rather than Port Vila

the location was nice and quiet and beautiful view of the lagoon. Unit was nice, clean, spacious. Lovely tropical grounds but could use some weeding! Restaurant on site again very quiet but menu had a bit of everything.

The pools are all quite small and there is very little room to sit and relax around them. One is immediately infront of reception and the dining room. The sun loungers are all quite old and broken, the cushions again old and not clean. Its at the bottom of a very steep driveway which you have to walk up to catch a bus. Its a 15 min walk into town down a very dark road at night. The kitchen and bathroom are old dark wood and looking very tired and dated now. Breakfast is basic and same everyday. Toast, cereal, juice, croissant.

I broke my Ankle while in my room and the staff where fantastic. The hotel gave me a room close too the Restaurant and at ground level. I will try and come again. The only negative is that the water at the beach is Polluted and so I could not swim there. You need to speak too your local government about fixing that problem. It is a big negative.

The food could have been better.
