the bed was comfortable and the tea/coffee TV phone in the room wardrobe drawer etc very satisfactory For the price in the economic climate at present it was ok The staff in the bar and cafe during the day there were very helpful and friendly.

bathroom a little stark but nice clean and plenty of towels. Unfortunatley the shower was very slow and not strong. My room was on the second floor at the end of the hotel without a lift it was 3 flights 2 steep and 1 shorter which was quite difficult with luggage. I think the supervisor at breakfast could have been a little more friendly as it seemed I was a bit of trouble when I came into the dinning room.

It was comforting and welcoming

Smell on stairs up to our room it smelt old and musty (room 9) access to room was through bar felt as if we was intruding through entertainment on the evening. But it wasn’t an issue as it was quite however been busy would of been a bit awkward if it was a late booking

The bedroom was old and smelly. Almost felt like a nursery home rather than a hotel.

Lovely staff, bar and location. Good for a quick fix, cheap getaway.
