Anchorage Hotel & Spa

We had to pay extra money for using the facilities because we didn’t book direct I don’t see the problem with having to pick through Booking.com. It’s the same price as what you charge. That’s the only reason we booked Room wasn’t totally clean and very outdated Shower was broke and leaking from the spray Breakfast wasn’t great either

The staff were exceptional Polite and professional. Breakfast was lovely great selection.

There was black mold in the wardrobe and the bathroom had damp on the ceiling. It was a little whiffy.

Staff were lovely, and the area was beautiful. It takes around 10 mins to walk to the sea front, where you can either get the cable car up or down to the beach, parking was easy with plenty of parking spaces on the main road. Breakfast was nice with plenty of space.

The room, when we arrived we had to go to reception as there were cob webs on the walls, dirty stains and foot marks on the wall, the mattress protector had two very large dirty brown/yellow stains on it, the mattress underneath was even worse, the net curtain had a large rip in it, there was mould all over the bathroom blind, the bath was not in a condition where you could enjoy a relaxing bath. We were over the back of the bins and kitchen area where we got woke around 5.30 with them banging around. Also, there was a dog in the next room who started barking at 6am. However, when reported to the assistant manager Daisy, she did get housekeeping to our room to clean the marks off the walls and change the mattress protector, unfortunately as the hotel was fully booked we were not able to be moved, Daisy then come later with 2 small single glass bottles of prosecco and a letter of apology.

Good location good parking nice outdoor space!Evening entertainment was good! Bar was well priced!

The bed was really uncomfortable!

Location. No parking at hotel but able to find somewhere on the road. Breakfast. Buffet and good range. Bedrooms clean and spacious.

I thought pool was included in the booking price but required to pay extra which was 8.50 per person which for an hour I would be able to use it I didn't feel affordable. Breakfast was good but cups were sticky. Corridors smelt like a nursing home. Shower was barely a trickle in the morning.

It was in a very quiet location. Beautifully situated and very friendly staff. A real homely feel to the place

Just a little unloved. Rooms could do with freshening up and decor a bit dated.
