Central Buxton - Modern Cottage - Peak District

The property was a very good location for the Peaks, with pubs and shops very close by. The host was very useful with the information provided. Overall very good and clean.

The mattress was a bit uncomfortable and parking is sometimes limited depending on time of day.

The location was closed to the train station. The apartment was beautiful and the facilities were ok

The hall was a little small. And the stair a little steep.

Excellent location.

A couple of suggestions, for safety a grab rail at top of stairs, nonslip mat in shower. Small bin in bathroom, mainly for disposal of sanitary items. Small bedside table between twin beds for lamp etc. also small chest of drawers in both bedrooms.

Clean, good shower, towel rail that worked, lovely bed, reliable hot water.

Steep narrow thin stairs were a constant worry.

A great location to spend a few days in beautiful Buxton. Very clean, Ben was very helpful. A very cosy cute little place.

Very tiny, which was ok but there is no where to put anything. Nowhere to eat, (only 2 chairs at the breakfast bar) Nowhere to store food that’s not the fridge. Not a single hook in the place so nowhere to hang a coat or anywhere to put clothes while you shower. Not quite enough cutlery (3 spoons) or cups (4 tiny cups) so I spent a lot of time washing up. The owner has probably never slept over there so it felt very minimalist. The court yard is bisected so neighbours are walking through which is fine unless you’re having a shower. The bathroom window is not secure.

Good location and comfy sofas. Exactly what I needed for my stay.

The sofas make it tight to fit around in the living room, if you needed support to walk it would be difficult to navigate and up the steep stairs so something to bear in mind and give people notice.

Charming little cottage, great location from which to explore the Peak District, very helpful service!

Perfect location, great facilities, and lovely friendly host who was on hand at all times to help out with any queries.
