The quirkiness of the property with the decor made a real statement

Didn’t find anything about the property that I didn’t like ..apart from staircase being a bit steep for some of us

A really lovely house, bright and airy- we stayed during a heatwave and we were nice and cool- bonus of washing facilities and clothes line/airer (no washing when we got home!). A well presented house in a quiet area, no issues in regard to parking and the 10-15 minute walk to town was lovely- you pass lots of nice quaint restaurants on the way. We have stayed in a few houses in York over the last few years, both in the city centre and further afield (paying varying prices)- my husband and I agree this one has been our favourite so far, a fab mix of a great house and a quiet location. The yard is a lovely addition, great place to rest your feet after a long day of sight seeing!

The only thing I would suggest is look at refreshing the pillows as they are becoming a little flat but not a massive issue- still slept great.

The house is even better than the description, smart, modern decor. Location is great and a short walk into the city.

A really lovely house with modern but comfortable furnishings. Very light with plenty of windows that open to make it airy when warm.

Spacious and quiet.Very well equipped and outdoor space.

The house is beautiful, exceptionally clean, comfortable beds and everything you need for a home from home stay. Location is perfect with a 15 minute stroll into town. The street is tight but we had no problems parking.
