Stylish & Central 2BR Stockbridge Gem

Good Location

Upon entry, the carpet was well worn and stained all over and you were immediately hit by the stench of mold and dirtiness. All of the walls seemed to be scratched up and none of the bedroom windows open to let in any outside air. The beds, well used and were not cleaned based on the hair left on the pillows and sheets. The fridge, smelled of mold/mildew. The bathroom upstairs back-flowed into the shower with nasty trash/sewer water and was full of hair from previous visits. Whoever manages this apartment needs to have a word with the owner on updating it, or the owner needs to find a new management company to service it and be open and honest with them on how dingy and gross it is. I’ve seen the previous reviews and I’ll admit, I should have dug deeper to see plenty of comments about the windows not working etc… however, given the location, it’s a shame it’s in pretty nasty condition.

Location was very good for walking to major attractions in the city centre. Lots of nice cafes and wine bars nearby

Bedroom no 2 with no windows as in the basement. No fan as airless. Only one shower and not enough seating in lounge for 4 adults

Not enough space to list all the bad things. Small bedroom in the basement was like sleeping in the dungeons. Matress was worse than the carpet. The bad thing is that you have to have nothing to lose to lay on that carpet… omg! And the small bathroom… only one foot at a time. Cherry on the top? They did not help for real to any of our requests (like broken shower… nothing fancy here)

The location was in a lovely part of Edinburgh.

The finish of the property was poor considering it’s advertised as a boutique apartment. There’s a damp smell downstairs and a smell in the hall. The carpets are dirty/stained. The bathrooms are very small and also have a poor finish. The TV was not working and also all scrambled in spanish. The photo of the outside on booking.com is definitely not of that property!

The location is great if you want to explore new town, the Circus Lane is just next door The second bedroom is on the basement level, there is no windows, which is perfect for those who want to sleep in the complete darkness The home is well equipped and very easy to get to being on the ground level Two bathrooms (one on each floor) is very helpful

The entrance to the building is adjacent to the primary bedroom, so there was noise early in the morning from people going out of the building and slamming the door Outside windows face the street and cannot be open The kitchen is on the basement level, which is a very minor inconvenience

Location was perfect - close to lovely shops in Stockbridge.

As a short stay place it was great.

Clean, comfortable, well appointed (apart from the plug) and convenient location
