"Excellent place for gluten free breakfasts."

The breakfast was hot, freshly cooked and they catered for gluten free too! It was excellent and hearty. The staff were superb too. So helpful and friendly.

There was no residents lounge to sit in comfort away from other diners having meals. Also, there was no comfortable seating. The one comfortable sofa disappeared on Sunday for some reason and we had to sit on uncomfortable chairs for hours on end. It did appear again weirdly, on Sunday evening?

"Perfect for the overnight stay that we needed."

The location was good as we were visiting family who live at Luddenden Foot, which is 1.7 miles away. The room was very good and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was well equipped with things we might need. There was a firework display which meant that it was extremely busy and therefore noisy. This is probably not usual and it didn't spoil our stay as wse did not hear any noise when we went up to our room. We cannot comment on breakfast as we had to make an early start.

Nothing really. it was just a bit noisy when we stayed because of Bonfire Night.

The staff were very pleasant and friendly, especially Charlie on our arrival. The room was clean and comfortable and I particularly like that there was a bar of soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, plenty of tea and coffee and biscuits. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I can’t think of any negatives other than the distance to Hebden Bridge. But for £85 it was well worth it. I will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.
