TWO BED Modern Apartment 5min walk to Town centre with Free Parking ! Under New Management

Locations great Bathroom very clean Off Road park directly outside is fab. Perfect amount of space for us.

Kitchen could of been slightly cleaner. Very cold when we got there and took a while to heat up after we managed to get heaters working. Beds weren’t comfortable.

Basic cleanliness was lacking. The floors throughout the apartment were dirty. Freezer broken and dirt could not be used. The bedding very poor the three pillows on each double bed were extremely thin and marked. Bedding unironed. The mattresses extremely uncomfortable and lumpy. The sofabed was broken and could not be used as a bed this had already been mentioned in a previous review but nothing had been done about it. Another sofabed was brought in, in addition to the one already in the living room which made everything very cramped, and the breakfast bar became unusable. The shower drain was blocked. The water outlet for the shower and basin had no drain outside to flow into so when you had a shower the water flowed onto the carpark. Oven dirty. Black scale inside kettle. Unfortunately there was no other available accommodation in the area so had no alternative but to stay.

We chose this property due to its location, convenience to the Winter Gardens and ease of collection of the keys were the only positives. I was also happy to realise that I had dealt with the property manager on 2 other occasions at a different property.

This and the photos have already been shared with the management. The property is advertised as having parking, this is on a first come first served basis, and I checked with the host and was told that there was space for 4 cars, I was delighted! However, on arrival there were so many full bins in the parking area that the 2 cars that were parked there blocked the access to other possible parking spaces so I had to pay to use the parking across the road. First impressions were not great as you can imagine from the above, 3 full wheelie bins and one industrial bin outside the door and other items including sanitary items on the grating by the door did not exactly fill us with hope as we entered the property. On the turn of the landing there is a window which is stuck at open, it was baltic! Once we got into the property it looked "ok" not amazing but functional. We could not use the bathroom to shower as due to said open window the bathroom floor was so cold that I had to lay towels down so we could walk to the toilet and sink, the cold was eyewatering! The bedroom closest to the bathroom didn't have a working ceiling light, the spots came on once and faded in and out that was it, I have seen from other reviews that there were issues with this before, I wonder if it is a general wiring issue. This bedroom also had the most uncomfortable mattress those using that room did not rest well. The windows throughout are not of good quality glazing, you could hear every vehicle pass beneath. There were 4 of us so one slept in the kitchen on the sofa "bed" this apartment is not for 6 people at all, do not assume you can sleep in the kitchen. There was meant to be wifi via a dongle, I enquired as to its location on Friday night as I didn't understand the instructions, I received a reply on the Sunday after we had left, hoping we had found it (we hadnt), and then on Monday was asked if we left said dongle in the flat?

Clean and nicely decorated, TV in every room. Vanity mirror was a hit. Free off street parking and very short walk to town centre!

The size was good and also the location was brilliant with the town and sea front just a few minuets walk

Flat wasnt very clean when we arrived floor was sticky and what looked like spilled drinks had made its way into the cutlery drawer we popped to the shop bought a mop and couple cleaning products and gave the flat a clean for ourselfs. Apart from that the shower we couldn't get to work properly and was far to hot so used the bath but had to be careful as the over flow was disconnected, apart from that it was fine and wouldnt be put off going back

Property Exceeded all expectations. Property owner was polite responded straight away to messages or phone calls making us feel welcome from the off
