The location. Spectacular hotel with amazing history. Had planned to visit for years. So glad we did.

Parking charges. Ok if its in the busy season then yes. Fortunately parking behind the hotel is free.

The building is simply stunning. The location is amazing.

Nowhere to sit outside in the shade with a drink. Room windows are small and high up, so little natural light.

the location and the building were spectacular - as was the history very photogenic good breakfast

The dinner was ok - but the restaurant cars were closed which was disappointing room was rather cramped I get this was a big refurb project, but a lot - most? - of the decor was plastic, and this really wasn't cool.
