Family House In Walpole Road, Old Windsor

Location wasn't too bad. Was quite close to the airport

The house was being fully renovated so didn't look anything like the photographs. I wasnt made aware of these renovations. No living room area and the kitchen was dirty. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Shower hose didn't attach to the wall either. The bedroom floor was uneven and felt unsafe to walk on parts of it. The wardrobe in the bedroom was broken and tilting forward. If I opened the door of the wardrobe the whole thing would fall towards me. Really disappointed. I understand this is a cheap option, however, I expected it to be clean and presentable.

Everything! 1 - Sheets was not clean 2 - The bed stunk of Body Odour, bud was sunken. 3 - The room stunk and not clean. 4 - Windows looked closed but the locks had been removed so it can be open from the outside! 5 - Drink stains and grease over the walls and skirting boards. 6 - The bathroom was horrendous, would have felt first coming out than going in! 7 - The kitchen looked liked it hasn’t been cleaned in ages, I’ve seen squats cleaner! 8 - General condition of the property was is need of care. Pictures on the website must of been taken years ago! 9 - two parking spaces, you will struggle to park on the street too. 10 - no hearing in the room! I was in the property for about 30 mins and had to go as the smell and unclean sheets made me feel sick so left and paid for a hotel that was a few quid more but totally worth it. I’m ex military and stayed in so horrible places in the Middle East. I would rather go back there for 6 months than stay there again. Surprised this place is allowed on booking.com. Messaged the owner with my concerns and ignored me. Awaiting a refund still!!!would add more pictures I’ve taken but can only add 4!

Nothing, it was absolutely disgusting.

Firstly there was no parking, stated that there would be. The room was disgusting, hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. Rubbish and dirt all over the floors, dried boogies wiped up the wall by the bed. Bedding that hasn't been changed from previous occupant, evident by stains and all the grit, stone and dirt at the feet area. I had to strip the bed and collect bedding from my vehicle. I had to clean toilet, shower and sink to be able to use them. I could not remove my shoes the entire time. The floor had that much dirt, hair, toenail clippings over it. The curtains were hanging by a few hooks, had to be kept drawn the whole time to avoid falling off. I've never seen such a dirty and unkempt place. The cushions that should have been on the bed were on the floor by it.

Nothing. About this property is what showing on the photo. This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed at in my life and I travel a lot. The photo I assure you is from the day they probably renovated the property. From that day it seems like it was NEVER BEEN CLEAN AFTER SOMEONE RENT THE ROOMS!!!

The fact that I went there was nothing clean. I entered the room to use the washroom and it like it was never cleaned. It’s like the just made the bed from the last person. I literally had to try clean the room and still couldn’t sleep on the bed how filthy it was. Around the toilet had 3 plungers because it wasn’t functioning properly. I am a clean person and understand that ppl are trying to make extra funds but this is how ppl get sick.

Dirty. Shower broken, rude staff. Uncomfortable basically broken bed. Has nothing going for it except the location near Windsor

Location pretty good in old Windsor. Easily accessible for Windsor and local pubs. Main space was big and pretty good

Floor of room and bathroom was filthy. Rubbish on floor. Absolute faff to get in. Having to call landlord multiple times to get access codes rather than getting them via message.
