We had such a lovely stay at Melvyn’s apartment! He went out of his way and checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed. There is a stunning partial sea view from the private balcony which was great to wake up to. The apartment is also located in a great area in Sea Point, we would often take walks out to the restaurants in the area. The apartment is secure with great security. Would definitely recommend!

Nothing, except the bathroom size. Wish it was a bit bigger and wider, but it worked for our 6 night stay. If you’re a giant you may struggle a bit.

Apt was spotlessly clean , enjoyed the coffee machine and balcony. Loved having my coffee in the morning looking out to the sea. Melvyn the host is an absolute gentleman who couldn’t do enough for us, spoiled with the wine! Apt is in a great spot in seapoint and we used the my city bus which was great to use, takes you as far to hout bay one way and V&A waterfront the other direction. Very safe area to walk around.

First of all I wanna thank the host for the good welcome. Fruits, water and a bottle of wine were ready to consume when we arrived. Our questions regarding transport, restaurants, sights got answered in a very transparent way. The apartment is in a very safe area called Sea Point. You got everything you need in every corner. Supermarkets, the incredible Mojo Market, the beach, restaurants. You wake up in the morning and have an incredible view to the sea and the Lion‘s Head. I loved having a coffee while looking at the giant ocean. It‘s definitely my go to apartment when I‘m back in South Africa. You can reach the host whenever you want if you have questions. He responds very fast.

Highly recommended our 2nd time Absolutely gorgeous with 24 hour security. Well equipped with everything of the best including a complimentary bottle of wine & bowl of fruit. We loved the fact that the place had an inverter and we could watch TV on the 50 inch smart TV with Netflix included. Melvyn was the perfect host, very hospitable and informative about the Myciti bus card which was amazing. Great value taking us to the Waterfront and all over Cape Town. The bed was perfectly comfortable with quality crisp spotless linen. We especially enjoyed the airfryer and quality crockery. Beautiful sea and mountain views from the balcony. The location is perfect with the beachfront hop on/off Myciti bus. Also an Olympic size swimming pool free for seniors around the corner which we enjoyed. Everything was perfect!!! will definitely be back!!!

The apartment is absolutely gorgeous!! Very well equipped and decorated with love. The bed is really comfortable, the shower works perfectly and the balcony is great with a beautiful view. The location is perfect and Melvyn is very keen to make his guests feel comfortable and safe. He does this with heart what you can feel and I always felt in good hands. I highly recommend to stay in this apartment. I’m sure it’s the very best place with the very best landlord.

The only thing the drain in the shower was clogged. My husband cleaned it.

Everything was perfect! I travelled by myself for about 10 days and it was very important for me to feel secure, which I did a 100 per cent in this place. Sea Point is a great place to spend your holidays. There are multiple grocery shops, coffee places, restaurants in walking distance. But the best part about this place is the view, you have a direct view of Lion’s Head from the balcony, which I enjoyed every day, also you can see the sunset in the ocean from the balcony. It is awesome to sit outside and enjoy your morning coffee! It is only a few minutes walking distance from the promenade too! If there is a rainy day the pre-installed Netflix access is also super great and easy to use! Big thanks also to Melvyn as well, the host, who gave me great advice on where to eat, shop and what to see. He was always available for questions and checked in on me regularly. I felt very much at home in this place also because of him!
