Casa Amelia - Charme in Taormina

Ugo and Justyne were the best host we have ever dealt with .I would recommend this apartment to everyone .Kitchen had everything you would want and everyone wanted a photo of the street .Absolutely the perfect location

Stairs

The apartment was spacious and immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. The view from the rooftop terrace was amazing and the apartment was in a fabulous central location . A few steps down a gorgeous laneway and we were in the heart of Taormina. The little restaurant called 3/4Quatro on the steps just down from the apartment was one of the best meals we had in Sicily.

Everything was perfect. Ugo was very helpul of showing us around the apartment and giving us ideas where to go in Taormina. He even suggested us where to go while in Messina. He was very friendly. The apartment was perfect. Tv with netflix just how I like it. There was an espresso machine which I look forward to. Bedrooms were both so clean and bathroom was the right size. What I loved the most was the balcony in the morning looking over the Taormina stairsand the terrace.

Everything was perfect

The property is bright and sunny and has a lovely view. There is easy access to the main drag with plentiful restaurants, bars and shops. There is also the use of a rooftop terrace with sunbeds if you just want to kickback, relax and read. Ugo treated us like long-lost friends and even drove us to the train station on departure! Thank you for a wonderful stay!😍

There was nothing to dislike about this property. PS. There are however many steps to climb to access the main roads and pathways.

Located in a beautiful lane just off main pedestrian street.

Beautiful apartment right in the centre of the historic centre of Taormina. The apartment was fully equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, laundry, sofa bed and two bedrooms that had comfortable beds. The whole house had really good working AC which was a bonus as it was very hot during August. There is also a rooftop you can access which is great for tanning! Apple google maps kept taking us to a different location however the apartment is located on Vicolo Meliva which is a street in the historic centre that you're not permitted to drive into. To drop bags off, it is best to drive and stop on the street above this (Via Giovanni Bosco). From here, you walk down a few flights of stairs to reach the door to the apartment. The door is at the top of the Vicolo Meliva street. This will save you walking your bags from the start of the historic centre and then having to walk up the stairs of the street in Vicolo Meliva. When you enter the complex door, there are two flights of stairs you walk up to to enter the apartment. Closest paid parking is in Parcheggio Porta Catania which is a 5 min drive / 10 min walk from the apartment. The host was very helpful with check in and check out details! Not only was the accommodation perfectly located (stones throw from the main street) comfortable and had all the amenities needed to make our family of 4 (4 year old twins) comfortable, our host Ugo was truly amazing. Ugo and his wife made extraordinary efforts to welcome us and make us feel comfortable. They were there when we checked in and gave us a walking tour of the main street and recommendations for where to eat and get the best of everything. Ugo then followed up with a message with all his recommendations for site seeing, beaches, transport and where to get great food and at a reasonable price. Ugo constantly checked in on us and even took us on a quick tour around town with his car and on another day, he took us to the beach and picked us up when we were ready to leave. He even assisted with our check out (carried our bags) and assisted us with our car rental. Taormina is an amazing place but Ugo made our experience truly one of a kind. I cannot recommend Ugo's place enough. You won't be disappointed.

Ugo very kindly picked us up from Taormina station and even made the trip twice to accommodate bags! He and his wife were there to show us around the house and explained in detail where the good restaurants were, and how long it would take to walk to the the various amenities (ie beach). They followed it up with whatsapp messages so that we had the information to hand. The property is is a fantastic location very close to the main street and other attractions. It is beautifully decorated and our children loved it! As hosts, they were available to answer any queries and I would recommend Casa Amelia to anyone looking to stay in Taormina as is it comfortable, close to all amenities and restuarants, and you will be so well looked after by Ugo and Justyna! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Really good apartment in an excellent location in a lovely little street just off the main shopping street of the town. Apartment was very clean with great facilities. Host Ugo was incredibly helpful and informative, and you have a great view of Etna from the rooftop terrace.
