Casa Amelia - Charme in Taormina

Gorgeous apartment in the centre of Taormina with an amazing roof terrace with great views of Etna. Apartment was very clean and bright and looked just like the photos. Two big bedrooms with shutters and plenty of storage space. Large bright kitchen with just about everything you need and a big seating area. Apartment is at the top of some stairs but then Taormina has stairs everywhere. Kept us fit. Apartment was gorgeous but the host Ugo made our stay memorable. He is an absolute legend! He stayed in constant communication with us via WhatsApp and even offered to pick us up from train station, took us for a tour around Taormina and gave us loads of tips ( and followed it all up with a WhatsApp text). He has to be one of the most friendliest, genuine hosts we have ever came across and nothing was too much trouble for him. We felt like we knew him and his family really well even after only being there for a few days. He obviously takes great pride in what he does and that shows when you talk to him. Thanks again Ugo.

Nothing to dislike.

We liked everything and truly wish to come back to the same place , we reccommend to everyone ! The place is in the historical center , a few steps away from the main touristic street and attractions, but the most lovely part of our experience was meeting our host, they truly take care of all details and went above and beyond and also recommended us the most nicest places to visit and excelent tips for food. 5 stars for every aspects ;)

Very clean and location

The host was very helpful and the best restaurants and shops were 5 mins away. The cleanliness was top notch and even the facilities! Situated in the heart of Taormina, it is a stay not to be missed.

Was so lovely. Loved the roof terrace and Ugo was just the most welcome host and so helpful.

Ugo is the simply the best! Everything was perfect above any expectations you could dream of. And what a service! ( all activities and restaurants you need to do!) Lifts both ways from and to the station was the cherry on the cake.

An unforgettable stay – thanks to Ugo! We had a fantastic three-day stay at Casa Amelia in Taormina. What truly made this visit special was the warm hospitality of our host, Mr. Ugo. He picked us up from the bus station and also brought us to the train station – a level of service that’s rare to find. He responded to our WhatsApp messages immediately and always in a helpful and friendly way. We’ve traveled a lot, but we’ve never had such an amazing host as Ugo. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and perfectly located. In one word: a 10! Just a note!!! : the listed hosts Justin & Carolina were not the ones we dealt with – our exceptional experience was all thanks to Ugo.

Great location in the heart of Taormina. The apartment was large and well equipped. Above the apartment was a roof-top terrace with great views and lovely lounge chairs.

It is impossible to find the apartment on your own (and where to park) but the owners are aware of this and went out of their way to assist us both during the arrival and departure process. They were extremely helpful and were easy to communicate with. This would not be a good choice for someone with mobility issues due to the large number of stairs needed to reach the apartment. Again the owners were extremely helpful in all aspects of arriving and departing and even drove us to the car park when we left.

The location is superb, close to the main tourist attractions. The apartment is well-equipped, clean, and well-maintained. The rooftop terrace offers a wonderful view. Our host, Ugo, was extremely helpful. Our flight was delayed by over an hour, causing us to miss our train to Taormina. To our surprise, Ugo kindly offered to drive all the way to Catania to pick us up and take us to the accommodation. On top of that, he ordered pizza for us and bought some drinks so we would have them upon arrival. Ugo also gave us great tips on places to visit and recommendations for the best restaurants. **P.S.** Try to book during the first half of the month when Ugo is managing the place.

Casa Amelia in Taormina exceeded my expectations in every way. The apartment is spacious, immaculate, and thoughtfully decorated, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of Mount Etna and the sea, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. Its central location, just steps away from the main street, allowed easy access to numerous restaurants, bars, and shops.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike about our stay at Casa Amelia. Every aspect of the accommodation and service was outstanding.
