It was convenient check in and out

The place smelt of sewage and was disgusting. Appalling

No cover on the double bed and a stained duvet cover. No parking

When we arrived, 45 minutes after the 4 pm check-in time, a builder was in the apartment in the middle of mending the shower. It took just under 30 minutes to finish this work. We were on a tight time schedule which meant that it was not possible to have a shower before going out. The builder was also due to mend the window in the kitchen as it was not possible to open it. He said this would take some time to do so we opted not to have it done. Considering the cost of over £300 for 2 nights stay I think that this work should have been carried out before our check-in time. A very disappointing start to our stay.

A perfect stay for our young family. It was everything that it advertised to be.

Cosy, compact, comfortable house

The microwave was very kept above the fridge, which was difficult to reach. The bathroom did not have an exhaust.

So tidy and clean

Nicely furnished. Clean. Comfortable bedrooms. Very quiet.

Heating was set on very warm (24 degrees!) Some complimentary tea, coffee and milk would have been welcome.

It was clean. Location was great. Newsagent within walking distance is ideal.

There is no contact number for the staff/owner. We had to rely on messages via the Booking app to communicate. We were told we'd receive the code for the door at 15:45 so we arrived at that time. We waited outside the address until the code was sent at 16:09. Messages via the app weren't immediately replied to. There was no welcome pack at the address. Check in details sent via the app had a phone number, but the number provided was only to be used in emergencies and if we rang that number and our issue was not classed as an emergency, we would have to pay a fee. Also, I filtered locations with parking in my search and this property came up......but it has no parking. The property is on a main road, so you have to pray you find a parking spot on a reasonably close side road. The damage deposit being the same cost as the stay was also too much.
