GBNot much
We had to leave the accommodation shortly after arriving because the conditions are awful! The damp marks on the walls, the mould, the dirty fridge and floors, stained ironing board, no amenities like soap. The front garden had loads of trash everywhere. Also the combination of the windows having bars on them, the front door being in a bad condition, and the area having quite a few questionable characters really suggested this isn’t a place to stay in for tourists - it felt very unsafe!

GBLocation, close to the centre.
Unclean throughout, one of the hosts was still ‘cleaning’ the property well past the check-in time (3pm) and all it appears he did was sweep the floor. He left rubbish around. No towels and toilet roll to begin with. No handsoap. Sink in kitchen full of dirty debris. Leak stains in property - easily could be painted over. Toilet roll brush filthy. Bugs in one of the bedrooms. Uncomfortable beds. No hot water. Unclean utensils and glassware.
GBIt was comforting and clean I thought
There were bed bugs and now my skin is reacting so are my friends skin and we are not able to go about our risky activities

GBLeaving the property!
Upon arrival, the housing estate of which the property was situated was truly terrifying, consisting of beat-up crashed cars, rubbish littering the street, and surrounding areas with incredibly run down boarded up properties. It was filthy everywhere you looked. Thank goodness we didn’t arrive in our own car, or I fear the car would’ve been no longer be the next day. The property itself had bars on the windows, which just said it all. The letter box had been damaged, and the flap ripped off. The concrete steps up to the front door had a wire hanging across the top step, which is a massive trip hazard, and if we didn’t spot it, would’ve resulted in disaster if someone had tripped. Through the external door, there was another door into the property. This door was a rickety old beat up wooden door with metal panels what should have been the letter box but this was hanging off then there was big cracks in the wood. It was locked by one single Yale lock when didn’t feel at all secured. Inside the property was relatively clean and pleasant. Apart from it was thick with dust in certain areas, but unfortunately, it was absolutely freezing. It was actually warmer outdoors than inside. There was a massive sign on the boiler that said to not turn on the heating, and the batteries had been taken out of the thermostat for reasons unknown. We sent a message to the owner asking them if we could possibly put the heating on and we had no response and still haven’t had any response! The top floor of the property where two of the bedrooms are, was so cold you could see your own breath. Needless to say even with the extra small throw blankets provided on the beds, none of us slept well as it was just that cold. The lights on the stairs are on sensors and have no way of turning off completely and even with the door closed in the bedroom on the top floor, every time you moved in bed, it made the light turn on on the stairs! It got incredibly annoying very quickly for all 4 of us.
GBIt was spacious and clean. Good towels and bedding.
No central heating. The shower head doesn't attach to the wall when in use. Thus causing lots of spillage on the bathroom floor. When I first arrived, there was no toilet paper. I had to buy them. To be fair, the staff did come round later to drop off 2 rolls.
GBThere was no electricity and guests arrived late. Only the cleaner managed to give some resolution to what was an appalling lack of engagement with the owners to a disgraceful problem.
Arrived and there were no electrics working. It was late and there was a baby in the group. None of the owners answered their phone, even Booking.com couldn't contact them.
GBThe house is advertised to have private parking. This is a total lie. it's rd parking if you're lucky enough to be able to get anywhere near . The area was vile. Somebody claimed up and was looking through the kitchen window at us the first night . we now realised why there were big steel bars up at all the windows we just got over that shock went to bed a just dropped off 02.15 somebody started banging on the door it woke all 3 of us up we convinced ourselves we where hearing things for then a couple of minutes later it happened again I would never recommend this place for single females it was terrible all night the street was so active shouting children up n down car doors slamming this place definitely isn't for the faint hearted. Plug socket lose no letterbox, just a hole in the door. The fire was missing. The place is on 3 floors, only one way in one way out one smoke alarm on the 3rd floor. im sure that a health n safety risk in itself when all the windows have bars up at them the garden was all over grown wouldn't go back for free ive used booking .com many times and never been let down, but this time words fail me
