Stunning location, staff extremely friendly and helpful, comfortable room with everything you would need.

The grounds and golf course are beautiful.

The hotel itself is very tired and needs a lot of TLC

There was nothing to dislike

Grounds and buildings were impressive. Staff were very friendly.

Our room was looking a little 'tired'. We were assured by other guests that there were other much nicer rooms. We had to use towels from our room to use the pool. We would have prefered new towels to be provided in the pool area. There was a lengthy power cut whilst we were using the pool that left the changing rooms pitch black. Leaving the door open provided some light but at the expense of ones dignity. If it was after dark, it could have been difficult or possibly dangerous moving around.

Location.Room was the biggest we ve been so far in Scotland and it had the golf course view.

We don't have any issue with spiders but please remove them when cleaning.Tjere are people who hate them and it not appropriate for a four star hotel to have spiders in the bathroom.

It had nice surroundings and was old fashioned inside with old paintings and very quiet .

The tiles around the pool were a bit dirty and the bed was way too soft so I couldn’t sleep .
