Cally Palace Hotel & Golf Course

location have stayed numerous occasions.

front of desk staff rude ignorant bordering on arrogance. I was duped re breakfast having paid for our breakfast given room only despite showing conformation. they deny they work with booking .com.which is preposterous such stupidity .3 days we never spent another cent plus never again visit this hotel..I may not use booking.com. again either this was a unpleasant incident.

The drive up to the Cally Palace is just beautiful. Grounds are stunning. It has a Golf course, swimming pool & full size snooker table. Both room & bed were a great size. The drawing room is spectacular!!

It needs a little TLC in areas.

Beautiful building and surrounds.Room was clean and spacious.The swimming pool and the hot tub were good.Dinner was fab,very tasty and a good menu. Staff were helpful and friendly.We had a lovely relaxing break and would go back again but stay longer.

The breakfast was well laid out and plenty of choice from cereals,fruit and pastrys.The cooked breakfast was the only thing that was a bit of a let down and it was the eggs.The selection of hot food was under a hot light and the eggs were dry and not looking the best ,so maybe less eggs cooked at one time and topped up from kitchen would solve that.We came down about 8am so not late into dining room for breakfast However the rest of the breakfast was lovely so just a minor easily fixed fault.

Another lovely stay,we just love this hotel ,everything is just great

Same as last time,one of the staff booking us in,can hardly understand him and the worst thing ever was his chewing of chewing gum,not professional at all,let's it down when you first enter the beautiful building, rest of the staff are excellent, especially Pam and Sue at desk
