Sweet Home Tourist Rest, Cooking Classes & Tours

We loved our stay here. The host arranged that we were picked up by a tuktuk from the bus station. The room had airconditioning, was spacious and had a bed that was a little longer than average so my 1.95m body could fit in there. The host provided us with everything that we needed: bikes to rent, absolutely sensational breakfast, a tour through Anaradhapura with 2 friends who stayed at a different place and we did a cooking class with them. Space was large, everything was clean and the shower had warm water. Definitely recommend this place!

We were so happy to have stayed here! The lovely family welcomes you with open arms. They arrange sightseeing tours, which was perfect because we only stayed one night. They served the best rice and curry we had in three weeks. We are really bummed to leave in only one day, otherwise we would’ve definately joined the cooking class. The rooms are spacious and clean. It’s a place you must visit!

Nilukshan and his family are great hosts! The price quality of the accommodation is a 10/10, we loved our short stay! Nilukshan is happy to provide recommendations about the area, restaurants and is very responsive. We were lucky enough to drive with him to our next destination, where he could show us and tell us more about the surroundings of Anuradhapura!

We had an amazing stay. Rooms are clean, bed is comfy, location is calm and safe. Hosts are great and very helpful. We rented bikes, cooked local food and went in a tour. Would highly recommend to stay here.

It was well situated and spacious and the hosts were absolutely amazing! They helped us book all our tours including Wilpattu where we saw elephants and a leopard!! Then he drove us 2 hours to our next hotel, Nilu is amazing and you should definitely come to this hotel ❤️
