Incredibly beautiful location! Right on the side of the mountain, no buildings or wires to disturb your view, great night sky. The entire resort is worth exploring, there is a viewing tower you can climb. You'll see that a river runs through it with more to see on the other side. Use a free bicycle to get around but stay within the resort parameters. The centerpiece features two large pools, a spa and a restaurant. Book the pool villa if you can. Highly recommended Long Islands at the restaurant, even if they take 20 min to make.

You can tell how old the place is. The air conditioning sounds like a lawn mower. No western media, only Thai TV. Restaurant is okay but overpriced, especially the western food menu and the cocktails. Staff are friendly but inexperienced. Don't be surprised if you are still waiting for your food while your company has already finished. Or if they carry empty plates away from your table while you're still eating. It's all worth it.
