"Excellent peaceful warm and cosy....Special."

Beautiful location, warm and cosy feel. Fully equipped kitchen included washer dryer. Ample parking, log fire,large bath excellent separate shower. Comfortable bed. But small things like fresh flowers, bread, eggs, butter and milk when you arrive were special.. Hosts could not have been more helpful. I hope to book again soon.

Wonderfully quiet, clean, very comfortable & spacious property. Well equipped kitchen with some breakfast provisions provided too - such a lovely touch. Lovely outdoor space with table/chairs/parasol if the weather is good too. Would definitely visit again & have already recommended to others!

My second stay at Moat Cottage. I dont really want to say nice things as lots of people will book and i will struggle to rebook!! ..ha ha... Tastefully decorated. Lovely, convenient location for Ripon, Thirsk and beyond.Super hosts. Perfect for dogs with the fully enclosed garden. Everything you need in the cottage and very good welcome goodies.Newby Hall is gorgeous. Looking forward to my next visit
