1 Courtyard Mews

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Courtyard Mews. It was so clean and spacious with a lovely decor and right in the centre of town but also very peaceful at night as it is on a residential street just off of the high street. The owner was incredibly helpful and made recommendations of things to do nearby as well as making our check in smooth and welcoming. The entrance gate and courtyard were really pretty and it even had a kitchen and bathtub which we thought was great. We would definitely stay here again.

We liked everything

Very clean tidy modern property, both the bedroom and bathroom again very clean We used the property for a home base while exploring the local area. The location is perfect for transport links both the train and bus station are minutes away as is the town centre.. The kitchenette is immaculately clean and modern ( had both washing machine and dryer available, additional charge is only £2 ) There are time restrictions for using the kitchenette and sitting in the courtyard but this wasn't really a problem for us. The price was very good, we stopped for 3 days and we didn't really know what to expect. Definitely exceeded our expectations, would definitely stop here again and have no issues recommending Courtyard Mews

On street parking, can be a pain but you can always find a spot. Not always close to the property though

Although we did not meet. The email communications between us were friendly and extremely helpful. The bedroom - king size bed - and bathroom were spacious and decor very pleasant. Tea and coffee was provided in the kitchenette and cereal was available for breakfast - all included in the room rate. We only stayed one night as we were off on the Scillonian. The quay for the Scillonian was only 5 minutes drive away so bags were dropped off and then parked our vehicle.

Parking close to the property might be found to be problematic on occasions. We dropped our bags right out side and then parked and we managed to find somewhere very close and not restricted by time.

Good sized room and big bathroom. Very comfortable.

Only able to access kitchen area before 9am and after 6 pm. Not a major hassle though.

Parking being on the road a bit of a lottery

The properties bedroom and bathroom were nicely furnished and decorated and comfortable.

The access to the property is up a scruffy, litter and weed filled back alley. The gateway then leads into a grotty backyard. The flat was nice but there was a lot of noise from people underneath, beside the room and sometimes on our supposedly self contained premises. It was disconcerting and I am astonished by the cynicism of the owners asking £140 a night for this place. We will not return. We would not dream of recommending.
