Stunning 2-bed Town Centre Apartment - Hosted by Hutch Lifestyle

Perfect location.

Nothing really!

The location was perfect. The security was excellent. We enjoyed our stay BUT it could have been excellent The original apartment had obviously been "stunning" at one point, and the original quality of everything was good but things are getting tired.

The property in Leamington Spa was difficult to find when you don't know the area, especially with it's one way system ... a map would be helpful before you travel. The apartment was very hot, and we could not figure out how to turn down the heat. The instructions in the booklet were not helpful on the heating cooling side. There was a light fitting hanging down. The blinds on the French windows were torn. One across the middle one across the bottom. The noise from the extractor fans in the bathrooms (both of them) was extremely noisy. Both of them were disgustingly thick with dust. It took us a while to figure out where the main entrance was. We arrived and went in through the garage entrance with the car. It was only because we spoke to a person that we discovered the main entrance was on "0" level. Our apartment was on 1. Car Park on -1, we would not have known about the main entrance if we had not spoken to someone. We could not find the rubbish bins easily. We left at 9.45 on friday. We could not see any rubbish bins at all. A man pointed me inside a door, but all I could see were three green bins all marked "glass" ... I left our rubbish bag beside it. The information booklet was very vague. The map inside was so small we could not read it properly. It would have been very helpful if we had been able to read the street names and local points of interest boxes. The floor in the apartment was sticky. My slippers stuck to it. There were footprints all over the bathroom floors and the kitchen area floor ... I'm not sure what that was. There was no bathmat in the ensuite only in the bathroom. Strange choice of bedding. Made from a man made fibre like Polyester? Does not make for comfortable sleeping in a hot bedroom/apartment.

The keys and fob worked perfectly fine. Easy and convenient. Apartment looks exactly as it is portrayed online. It's very well appointed and while you can see some of the wear and tear expected with a rental apartment, those things shouldn't interfere with booking the space.

We did not arrive by car, so locating the lock box and then accessing the building did prove to be a bit confusing. We did have to reach out for assistance after determining we were in the wrong building. The FOB works for all towers within Regent Court so we tried every door after determining we were in the wrong building due to the elevator choice in the underground garage. We do take responsibility for that however the signage isn't the best or easiest to locate. We did need to reach out to the landlord since the drains were quite slow draining and the toilet was in need of a new fill valve since it stopped working. They did respond and show up to make the necessary repairs that same day. The only feedback I would offer is that whoever the management company or cleaning service contracted should pay greater attention to those things in a proactive manner. Check in and Check Out times are a bit strict unless you pay extra per hour in advance. 4:00PM check in is a bit later than standard and a 10AM check out is also a bit earlier that standard. As someone having served in hotel hospitality management, those little changes certainly go a long way with guests.

Ensuite shower needed a deep clean, it let down the cleanliness of the rest of the apartment.

Location great, lovely flat with good amenities and comfortable interior

Only the broken elevator was a small annoyance

Lovely, well equipped apartment. Exactly as it looks on the photos. Excellent location in the town centre with secure underground parking and within walking distance of Jephson Gardens, river and many good restaurants. Enjoyed being able to open the doors onto the outside space. Nice and quiet and the neighbouring residents were really helpful when we struggled to find the car park to the apartment -taking us through the building and showing us the entrance.

Just personal taste but I didn't sleep well on the memory foam mattress as it was very soft and made me feel too warm.

The process was very straightforward unfortunately we had a little issue with the keybox - Sian was so helpful though!
