Stunning 2-bed Town Centre Apartment - Hosted by Hutch Lifestyle

This is a clean and modern apartment, located in very center of the town. Reception is very helpful in guiding me to check in. 100% recommended.

It’s location, the design of the living room, the fact it did have a car parking space (although my review explains more about this) and a lift.

Firstly I would like to comment on the hosts I found them abrupt, I approached them with issues regarding cleanliness and that we had no hot water and they found excuses. I expressed my concerns on my return because I didn’t want to spend the whole 2 days having to complain! The main issue was the overwhelming smell in the en-suite bathroom it clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly which was obvious due to the brown stains in the toilet. The host offered to bring us some bleach but as we had a restaurant reservation and it was getting late I decided it would be quicker to buy bleach etc myself. I purchased cleaning products, cleaned the toilet and mopped the floor. There was no hot water and after finding the boiler instructions we read that it needed to be boosted to use in advance so we went out that evening having not showered. When this was mentioned to the host she blamed previous guests for switching it off-it was in fact on. After raising the issue that the dishwasher was full of dirty pots their sarcastic reply was ‘’we are very sorry that you had to suffer the inconvenience of emptying the dishwasher’’. The towels/bedding are tired, zips on two pillow cases were broken, limescale on taps. We have photographs to support all concerns! As the checkout is 10am we asked if we could stay at the property for one hour and she said yes but that will be £10 extra. Even though I had paid for cleaning products and cleaned their apartment! My mum and I wanted two days away as my father recently passed away and we needed the break to try and clear our minds from the grief and all the mental stress it has caused us. What upset me most was that I informed the host of our loss and they chose to make sarcastic comments about my ‘mental health issues’. We certainly didn’t want to make a fuss but their lack of compassion severely upset me. I had to contact booking.com who managed to get me just £30 compensation (for my time wasted purchasing products/cleaning)

The location was ideal, right in the centre and comes with private parking space. The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated with lovely finishing touches. It was exceptionally clean, couldn't fault anything.

Nothing, everything was great.

Well presented spacious apartment with all one needs for a comfortable stay. Easy communication with host online. Easy and safe off street parking.
