Lovely spacious home, 8mins walk to York Minster

The apartment was lovely and clean and very spacious. It was in a great location, just a short walk to the city centre. We throughly enjoyed our stsy and thought it was excellent value for money. Thank you

The upper floor was very spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was useful for us to make breakfast and have a late snack after a day of walking

We did not get the entry instructions, and I had to call Booking.com to find the code for the lock box. I left many voicemails for the owners and got no reply The downstairs room might be called cozy, I felt it was cramped with very little room around the bed

A lovely apartment/maisonette with its own private entrance located in a quiet and lovely residential street and area, yet only a 5-10min walk to the centre of York along a well lit and pleasant street. The hosts leave a parking permit just inside the front door for one car to use and we parked right outside the front door and never worried about leaving our car here. The place itself is very well looked after and was much larger than I expected with a large lounge, dining room & well equiped kitchen which had tea, coffee, dishwasher tablet etc provided. It was absolutely perfect for us as a couple plus daughter and we would be very happy to stay here again next time we're in York

For our needs I couldn't fault this place at all, but if you're 2 couples staying together, just be aware that the upstairs double room is much larger & luxurious than the smaller downstairs double room - but there is a small ensuite bathroom downstairs.

On arriving parking was right outside the property. We were sent exact details where the property was and how to enter easily. The 2 bedrooms were excellent with one being en suite on ground floor and one having a massive bed on top floor. There was a lovely spacious living room and dining room. Great modern kitchen and big family bathroom with a bath to use. One of if not the best property in York we've stayed at.

The house was clean, cosy & welcoming. The hosts provided a parking permit to park on the street. The house was spotlessly clean with tea, coffee, sugar, and basic necessities. The location was perfect & an easy walk to the ShambleS, & all of the sites in York.

Host was a ghost, never had any communication what so ever, so many attempts at contacting the host via phone call, email etc as we needed the lock safe code, this never materialised leaving us stranded and stressed! Booking.com customer services also failed to contact them. Avoid!
