The Heart of Rye

The location was ideal to explore Rye and as a base to explore further afield where there was plenty to see and do. Plenty of good restaurants nearby.

There was no dedicated resident parking, nearby parking was all pay and display. The host did suggest a place but was quite a distance from the property. It would have been helpful if there had been a microwave oven. The upstairs shower was very good but had a plastic floor which was slippy when wet, a non slip mat in the shower would have been helpful

We love the fact that it was close to everything in Rye, but in an area that was easy to drive to and quiet. The house had everything that you need to make your stay very comfortable

Was unable to park at the property but found free parking not far away

Excellent location and all very clean. Excellent bathrooms and kitchen facilities. Beds comfortable and plenty of towels.

Sofas and dining room furniture clean but a little dated

Property is perfectly situated in Rye to walk to all surrounding areas. Very clean and met all our requirements

Apartment perfectly located. Clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay.

We were 6 adults and could have done with a little more storage.

We booked heart of Rye to celebrate my eldest sisters 70th birthday ....5 sisters in total.. it was a fabulous weekend ....the house is lovely...very clean ...very comfortable...and a perfect location for all amenities in the centre of Rye.. It says 3 bathrooms which can be misleading as its 2 bathrooms with I separate toilet downstairs so that can be a struggle upstairs if 4 adults are using the one bathroom upstairs... the downstairs bedroom has the small shower room to use.. the only thing we would recommend is to put some mirrors near plug points as it was difficult to dry the hair without a mirror near to a plug socket ... the downstairs bedroom could benefit from another bedside lamp as the room was a little dark ..the twin room has 2 very small single beds so more suited to children.. A bigger kettle is needed as the present one is very small and only makes 2 cups.. Apart from that it was a great place to stay for 2 nights ... We had lovely food in the FIG... great breakfasts.. went out in eve for dinners.. we had amazing weather sunny and blue sky but very 🥶 cold but the ""heart of rye "" was cosy warm and comfortable....Sally the host was very helpful ....thankyou
