Pear Tree Hut at Carr house farm

Really lovely location, very quaint and quiet. Perfect for a quiet get away. Central to both Whitby and Scarborough coast lines, so very convenient if you want to visit either or both. Challet was nicely furnished, and very well stocked for amenities, fire starting and self cooking.

Last minute retreat to a cosy cabin with a log burner & our dog was welcome. Exactly what we were looking for. Airfryer came in use for breakfast! We certainly hope to return sometime. A fun outside shower - even in February!

Nothing I didn't like

Pear tree hut is a lovely cosy retreat full of quirky little details from warm fairy lights built into the ceiling above the bed to a well stocked kitchenette. Although the toilet and shower is outside they were very clean and the decor well thought out. We only stayed for one night and the weather wasn't great but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Well what can we say, this place was absolutely brilliant. It has everything you needed, we overpacked just incase but the pear tree literally has everything, all the kitchen utensils, extra lights on hand, heated blanket . Not to mention the full jar of cookies, air fryer, kettle, toaster, and handy plug sockets all around, it’s supplied with a full range of tea & coffee & one last thing, the fridge was stocked with milk & Prosecco…It’s so quirky and well thought out. Toilets and showers on site location not too far at all. The location is so perfect, the people were so lovely and on hand straight away when we asked for some wood for the log burner.. We can’t wait to be back…without the dogs haha :)

A very lovely place to relax, first time staying here and really enjoyed it, the hut was nice and cosy, bed was very comfortable, had everything you needed to cook food, fresh bottle of water in the room, tea bags coffee, sugar, milk, had a few toilets one at the entrance leading to the hut and one not fair behind the hut. the log burner was already set up for us ready to use. view was lovely, area was very quiet. all in all a very lovely stay and would recommend and stay here again.
