Nice room, good food.

The staff didn't tell us there would be no staff on the premises overnight. We were locked in though we did eventually find a way out. I was panicked and it would have been deadly if there was a fire.

"Characterful. First class staff and food."

Characterful, welcoming and convenient. The food was first class as was the ambience in the bar/dining area. Staff were young, enthusiastic and very personable

Nothing. The lack of a TV in the room might be seen by some as a negative but we actually preferred it!! The electrics on the standard lamp in room 2 probably ought to be checked as a wee bit dodgy
