Great base for exploring Glen Clova. Lovely food and good range of beers. Friendly staff.

Breakfast and evening meals were both lovely. The hotel and staff were pleasant and all areas were clean. The views were breathtaking!

The bar and bothy area were great fun. The Asian-style meal with rice and chicken was excellent.

Booking arrangements for evening meal could have been better. 19:00 (and 19:15) are too early for me.

The situation among the hills is very special. Our room in the Steading was nicely furnished and all we could have expected with a very comfortable bed, and tea and coffee etc. available. As both of us are not too good on our feet we appreciated being able to park close to our room. We had an excellent meal the evening we arrived and an equally good breakfast. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. We certainly plan to come back again!

I was welcomed by the Staff from the first moment I walked in and was able to leave my car in the carpark before check-in time while I went walking. All the Staff were friendly and helpful. The evening meal was delicious and Staff attentive.

What an amazing spot! Wonderful facilities with bars and private relaxing spaces. The staff were incredible for the whole stay. Our room had a large bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Staff were very happy to chat when we wanted to and nothing was too much trouble. The kitchen was extremely accommodating with special requests from us foreigners and the food was great. We wanted to extend our stay another night but it was fully booked. Lots of great walks around the area too. Would love to come again one day.
