"Hosts were great in finding us alternate accommodation following a maintenance issue."

We didn’t end up staying at Hagley Park due to a maintenance issue However the hosts found us somewhere else to stay which was lovely. The only issue being we had specifically chosen Hagley Park for our stay and the other apartment was in another area of Christchurch. The new apartment was lovely and clean and a short walk from the CBD

Lovely property, clean and comfortable

Beware last minute changes and poor customer service! Due to maintenance issues we were notified of a change from our booked property around 11:30 on the day of our rental start - with no information about the location of the new property. Despite immediately requesting it we did not get this information until after I called them 3 hours later. By the time the information arrived we were travelling and not in a position to investigate the area. We had chosen the original booking location carefully, being close to all the things we wanted to do. The new property, although lovely, was in a very inconvenient area with us, with no car, and we had to use taxis to get to our planned excursions at extra expense. Worse still, when I complained to the property owner about the slowness in providing us with the location information, I received a dismissive response. If I knew who the owner was I would definitely recommend not booking with them.
