Conveniently located, very nice and clean place. The host was very accomodating and lovely to deal with.

Slightly small for a family of 6. Would like to book a bigger space for us. But that’s more our issue, the home itself was great.

Beautifully presented and immaculate property.

Noise from a busy road but that is expected.

The LOcation

The owner changed the apartment at the last minute, as I see he has done for other guests. The change of apartment did not have a fold-out bed for our third child. He had to sleep on some square 'couch' sections with hard bars. There is no real Couch, it is sections and terribly uncomfortable, with no back to lean on, and has collapsed in parts. There were snotty tissues left in the bed side table drawer. The apartment is dark and small. There is no milk for a cup of tea. I have stayed many times in Chch in similar apartments for the same price, that a far better. I would definitely not stay again.

We loved that the property was right by the park. We originally booked a different property but were reassigned to this one due to maintenance. Initially, I was a bit concerned, but those worries quickly faded once we arrived and saw the new place. The property was spotless and felt new. The appliances were excellent, and we had a very comfortable one-night stay.

If I had to pick something I didn’t like, it would be the late notice about the property change. It would have been nice if the host had informed us sooner. I messaged the host a day before our arrival, but the reassignment wasn’t mentioned until just a few hours before check-in.

Please note that my review is more about the host as my stay has been changed to another similar property near by in the last minute due to the maintenance issue of this booked one. But i am sure this one would be as good as the substitute property i got . The host is super helpful and the property i stay is sparkling clean and well equipped for my needs . Me and my families enjoyed our stay very much.
