Lake Vibes Suites by "The House Of Travelers"

Beautifully designed place with a huge bathroom. Perfect location to explore Como and go on boat tours.

On the first night there was no hot water in the shower for about 10 minutes, the other day only had to wait about 2 minutes to get hot water. The shower window leaked water right in front of the toilet so you had to be careful not to step into it with socks.

It is in the center of Como , Location is fantastic

Air conditioner was a lousy one and It was cold , we couldn’t keep warm , it was frustrating

Location was good, because it's close to the lake, to the restaurants, train stations.

Absolutely do not recommend for anyone who likes sleeping at night. From the minute we arrive - loud music from outside restaurants, noisy street and people chatting and laughing till 2a.m. And after that - restaurants cleaning, throwing their glass bottles to the trash LOUDLY and then at early morning garbage truck comes to take all the same bottles. So you will be sleeping from 6a.m. to maybe 11a.m., when the city wakes up and starts to do all that again. We chose this guesthouse because it specifically says - the room is soundproof. I don't know, what they mean by that, because it's anything but soundproof and silence, especially at night, for us is really important, so we feel like we were tricked. We asked for opportunity to leave one night early because of all this noise and to stay somewhere else, but the owner completely ignored us. Besides that room wasn't clean, there are cobwebs on windows, mirrors and shower walls were dirty. We stayed 4 nights and got just one set of towels per person. Shampoo and shower gel dispensers where empty, we got just a few shampoo samples, definitely not enough for the stay. The smells from all the restaurants wasn't very nice as well, especially in the bathroom.

Excellent location! Right on lake, with nice view, and fantastic connections to best locations, train station, and bars/restaurants! Parking garage near location.

Noisy neighborhood, trash removal comes every morning around 5AM, and makes so much noise specially while dumping empty bottles!

Good location , nice room

The apartment was lovely, very comfortable bed and well equipped with coffee machine. Plenty space and nice bathroom too. Location is ideal for a quick walk to restaurants, shops, and the ferries where you can purchase a day ticket to explore Lake Como. As two female travellers, the security made us feel a bit uneasy. We were woken at 1am by a loud ringing and noises outside of our door. The apartment door can be accessed by key code, and not just a physical key, which also made us concerned. We would have preferred to have the communal door locked.

Super friendly staff, excellent location near the port, main attractions and (super important) the bus station with lines that connect the whole area

We had a bar right downstairs at the first night (Saturday) until pretty late. Not a huge problem for us but something to keep in mind
