18th-Century three-bedroom Mill Worker's Cottage

Excellent location, beautiful views especially at the back of the house, cosy living room, good sized bedrooms, well equipped kitchen.

A small and perfectly formed cottage in the lovely village of Cromford. Our host, Rosie was helpful and friendly and the period cottage was comfortable, quirky and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Great kitchen, nice hot shower, cosy lounge and bored games provided too. The village itself is pretty and Rosie recommended The Boat Inn as a good place to eat… and we weren’t disappointed!

The property was a good size for a cottage and the instructions were really clear about how to get in.

When asked what time we would arrive and we stated the time, they wanted to charge us £60 additional. We didn't need to check in that early and thought it was excessive. We go away at weekends quite often and normally if the place is ready they will let you check in. This is the first time we have been asked for additional money.

Perfect location for our intended activities. Quirky house which is to be expected with a property of this age.

It was perfect stairs could difficult for elderly and infirm but bannisters are very secure

Comfortable, warm cottage with spacious bedrooms and well equipped kitchen. Good access for walks and free parking nearby. Friendly and helpful communication with owner. Excellent WiFi.

Steep stairs, but that’s part of the character of the historical property. Shower has good pressure but tricky to keep the temperature steady.
