Two Bedroom Flat with Sea Views!

Massive TV that was 'Smart'. So many hosts lie about this nowadays. Close to the beach - with in walking distance. In a quiet street. Very charming and friendly neighbours. Huge place. Good kitchen. The heating went off the day before we left - but this STILL DID NOT spoil things. That's how good this place was! Pet friendly to boot!

Entry instructions were tricky.

Great sea view in a lovely village.Community pub and cafe were handy and staff were friendly.It was also dog friendly and had good walking areas where we could take the dog out.

Street parking wasn’t ideal next to flat but that’s not the owners fault.On a health and safety note there was wood lying across at the bottom of the front steps which could have posed a tripping hazard we didn’t highlight this to the owner as it was obvious work was being done on other near by flat.

Can't fault communication and arrival instructions. Village is very quaint with nice walks for dog. Linens were clean and fresh. Parking is free.

Well...we booked for 2 nights but left after 1. Location is great but flat is not fit for purpose. On arrival front of flat was stacked with paint pots and dirty mop bucket. Flat smelled of dirty mop when entered...floors in both kitchen and bathroom were slippy and greasy. The sofa may look nice in picture but springs sticking out meant couldn't really sit on it. TV is large but isn't properly connected to Internet so can only get YouTube and ITVx. Kitchen not fully equipped, odd numbers of everything, no can opener to open dog's food. Cooker doesn't work right...there's no takeout, restaurant or bar in village so brought pizza to have for dinner, but regardless of oven setting, top was still uncooked and bottom burnt to a crisp but no fire blanket or extinguisher anywhere either. Same thing when tried to make pastries in oven in morning...so no dinner and no breakfast. Not the flats fault but upstairs neighbour came in late and could have woken dead with the noise. Dials on shower are put on backwards so for hot water move it to cold! Everything seemed old and unfinished, like was an elderly person had lived there and the only upgrades were an unusable TV and some linens from Dunelm! Called it after one night and went home.

Access to the property was confusing and was not clean.

Location was great, sea view terrific

The couch had seen better days, not very comfortable. The bed, you could see the springs showing , again not comfortable.

Amazing peacefull place it was to take rest after enjoying days in Edinburgh😍
