Two Bedroom Flat with Sea Views!

Nice clean property has everything you need. We stayed for 3 nights. Its location is great for sightseeing. Parking is tight but free.

It could do with a bit of repainting to make it top quality. It’s a bit dated decor in some rooms but still clean. Neighbouring flats upstairs were noisy. Sounded like cast of stomp were upstairs but that’s not the fault of this flat. Has access to subscriptions Netflix etc but not regular tv.

It is located in a quiet street in small coastal village. really no noise from neighbours. also near to little woodland for walking dog. The bed was comfortable.

It feels like the owners have done the least to make this a rentable place to stay. The sofa is not comfortable, the overall decoration is very poor. The tv didn’t work or hardly worked, we only got something on YouTube. The kitchen looked awful, old cupboards and dirty walls and wallpaper coming off. The floor was dirty. When we arrived we found the heating not to be on and when we looked at the boiler it was reading an error that indicated there is a leak on the system. We did contact the owner who said send a photo of it and regarding the tv they said we got an aerial put in recently. there didn’t feel like any energy there to get things sorted. We didn’t have time to waste trying to resolve issues as we were in the area to attend a family funeral.

The location was great what we needed

On arrival, flat was cold & smelled damp. No hot water or heating. Contacted host, who arranged a FaceTime call with gas engineer to get boiler going. Couldn’t get tv to work, only Netflix, but you need your own account. Was told by host, no normal channels as no aerial to building. However, did find you could access through internet, but only some channels as tv has not been tuned in. Outside area to flat is a mess. Whole decor has not been touched bar a lick of paint long time ago. Wallpaper is peeling on walls & ceiling. Kitchen is dirty, cupboard doors grubby. Cooker area disgusting. Freezer is old & rusty, needs defrosting & no ice trays provided. If you were brave enough to cook, there is only one pot & one frying pan, one fish slice, no other utensils. No other dishes, just bare minimum 4 plates, bowl, cups. One glass missing. Only one double socket as well. Main bedroom has old wardrobes but you can’t use them. Huge empty cardboard box in one, hoover in another, and no hangers provided. Found an iron but no ironing board. Second bedroom has a cheap clothes rail but only one child size hanger provided. Bathroom is only room decorated but let down by an old rusty radiator. No fire extinguisher/blanket provided. Bedding is clean but mattress/pillow protectors would be nice for better hygiene. Lounge has a big to…but not very useable & sofa is not exactly comfortable. Springs have seen better days. In my opinion, this property should be taken off until it’s properly renovated. It’s clear host is only managing from a distance & it’s just to make money.

Enjoyed the sea view. We were comfortable. Was not happy with the fact we could not use the television ,because of no aerial.

Excellent communication with the owner, flat was clean and beds were comfortable.
