The apartment was well appointed, comfortable and ideally located between Gunwharf Quay and the City centre. This was particularly helpful as we arrived in Portsmouth by train and had no car during our stay.

We found nothing that we were unhappy with.

The host was very helpful.

1. The cooker hood was faulty and we couldn't use it. 2. I found the beds too 'bouncy'. My wife found hers very comfortable. You can't please us all!

The location is fantastic for both the Historic Dockyard and Gunwharf Quays, only a 10minute walk away. The layout of the apartment is good, the bedrooms and living area are a good size and the bathrooms were well appointed. We enjoyed relaxing in the living area, and did a bit of cooking in the kitchen. On top of that the host was extremely helpful, checked in with us to make sure everything was up to scratch, and went above and beyond after the stay to help return some lost belongings to me. I can't rate him highly enough.

Everything about the apartment was as good or better than I could have wanted, the parking is a short walk away but it is reasonable. The neighbourhood can be a little bit noisy early evening, but everything settled down by bed time.
